Chaplains of the Federal Armed Forces (German Bundeswehr)

I bought these hats and caps in a military shop but they are not used in Germany. The German armed forces (Bundeswehr) do not fix badges of rank on the headgear.

In former time the catholic and protestant clergy used the same cross:

BW Feldmütze Heer oliv with the "old style cross"

BW Feldmütze Heer flecktarn with the "old style cross"

Nowadays they use a different cross for catholic and protestant clergy.
I can't say anything about the significance of the color (black, white, golden) used.
