  1. In Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Tradition the "Qob" is a recent developement over the past 100 - 200 years, no more. The "Qob" of a Monk/Priest (Abba) is different than of a Married Priest (Kesis). The White Qob is worn during the Qidassie - Holy Eucharist.
