On 1st of May I visited Hearst Castle, San Simeon, California, USA.
Above the main entrance I saw a coat of arms of a prelate.
I asked the guide why there is shown a coat of arm of a cleric?
But he could not answer my question.
Maybe one of me esteemed reads can explain it?
You can recognize an Ecclesiastical Hat (Galero) with 6 tassels on each side.

Hearst hat für sein Märchenschloss alles was passend und auch unpassend war in Teile schneiden und aus Europa heranschaffen lassen,halbe Schlösser u.ä. Da war sicher bei einer Lieferung dieses Wappen dabei, macht sich gut, er hatte sicher keine ahnung was es bedeutet ...
