Berretta da Camera - Papalina - House Biretta
In the past, I published 3 articles about the berretta da camera:
Dear Mr da Vinha, no it is not a special clerical cap. In the 19th century a lot of men wore such cap in their houses to protect from cold. Nowadays you can buy f.e. from Gammarelli in Rome.
Is this a clerical cap, or could anyone wear it? Wher emight one find something similar nowadays?
